Location: Gulu, Uganda

Hobbies/Interests: Playing netball, football/soccer, reading books, and watching movies.

Favorite Foods: Beans and rice, fish, meat (beef), and chicken stews.

Priska is 11 years old and lives in a home with other dependents (6 boys and 3 girls).

There are no adults other than her one grandmother to take care of them. She is trying hard to go to school but her old caregiver can’t afford to send her to school because she has to spend her meager income to meet other family needs like food, home repairs, and meet medical expenses amongst others; her grandmother is overburdened and lacks the socioeconomic capacity to provide adequate care and support for these children. She also lives in an HIV/AIDS-affected area where the disease has created orphans and vulnerable children. Her ambition in life is to be a Nurse and help treat sick people in the community. Priska is in dire need of a sponsor to help make her dream come true.
