Joseph lives with both parents. Joseph's father depends on breaking rocks to make concrete in order to raise food for the family. Joseph's father lost his  ancestral land to some of his clan uncles who grabbed everything from him unlawfully . They were left with a small plot of land which is not even enough for farming. Joseph's father loves his family only  that he has no source of income in order to provide for his children and beautiful wife. Joseph wishes his child could get a proper education and will help him live a prosperous life in future. 

The sponsorship means helping Joseph to get an excellent education which will transform his life and the community of Chibe.

Joseph's wish is to become a soldier in order to protect his country.
